Rarest 1957 33 1/3 RPM 1st press Holland Jazz vocal LP release by Rita Reys in superb condition. 

cover and record are in EXCELLENT condition!!

Reys had a long career from the 1940's to the present. Her cool vocal style was comparable to June Christy and Sarah Vaughan. She was off to an auspicious start with her 1st LP in 1955, recorded with Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers! She was known as the "First Lady of European Jazz." LP at hand is her 2nd LP, from 1957 Reys is accompanied on the A side by Tom Dissevelt and His Orchestra- this side is purely Jazz with sensitive big band accompaniment. She is backed on the B side by Jan Corduwener and his Orchestra. This side features some tastefully employed strings.
