Original 1968 pressing on Blue Coxsone of classic Coxsone Rocksteady featuring the hard to find Miss Hiti tite by the Westmorlites and Soul Call by Jackie Mittoo VG/EX

I have been collecting for some 28 years on and off and am in the process of selling off some duplicates from my collection so please add me as a favourite seller as some top tunes will be listed in the coming weeks.

45's will have sound files so that you can make up your own mind as to grading L.P.s will be graded.

Grading is to some degree a subjective matter but I have tried to be conservative in my grading so as to not dissappoint anyone. In many instances you can expect a tune to be slightly better than listed. All tunes are play graded (after all they have been with me for some years ;) Sight grading is impossible in my opinion as those in the know understand.

That said anyone new to the collecting scene and this genre in particular please note you will be bidding on records which in some cases are 50+ years old and so are not as new items and lots of thoroughly acceptable conditioned tunes do have some snap crackle and pop here and there and there are few records in circulation which one could describe as Mint. Personally I would never use this term for any of my listings and would instead stick to EX= Excellent for items that merit it and some of the tunes I will list will be very close to unplayed conditon, many will not.

If anyone feels that a tune has been seriously misgraded please except my apologies in advance it will have been a mistake. Please contact me and we can resolve.

All Records tested on Techinics 1210 and my old boy classic and play without skips or jumps , I cannot account for your individual setups , tone arm weight etc.

MINT (M) As unplayed shop stock

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played and sheen still evident in many cases and there is very little if any sound deterioation

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.

GOOD (GD) The Record has lost its sheen and has more surface marking than VG and has background noise and crackles but is perfectly acceptable with the music clear and strong.

POOR The record is a poor quality pressing or has extensive backround noise and on some turntables may jump. Record is listed for rare label or collection filling until better copy arises.

A proviso to the above is the fact that some recordings are not the best of quaility technically but in grading terms the record can still be listed as VG etc as this is how it was originally released. Old time collectors will know what I'm taking about.
