Ricky Nelson 1st Pressing Vinyl 45 Record and Picture Sleeve!
Offering another late 50's 45 RPM vinyl record and picture sleeve in unbelievable condition! This time around we have teen idol/rock 'n roll Ricky Nelson's 1959 original 1st black Imperial label 45 RPM vinyl record and its picture sleeve for Imperial 5595 "Sweeter Than You" / "Just a Little Too Much". The picture sleeve only mishaps are two pinholes on the top left corner of the sleeve (Near the "S" in the title on front of sleeve) where a staple left it's predictable pinholes and a small stamp mark ("98" in a circle-may have been a Jukebox number or a sales price) in the upper right back corner of the picture sleeve.I wouldn't even consider this an error, but, for disclosure sake, If you turn the sleeve to the left, a slight imprint of where the 45 once layed can hardly be seen (not ring wear but imprint). There are no seam splits, rips or tears, no smudging (The smudge in the "T" is a photograph error that's not on the sleeve!) or discoloration. The colors on the sleeve look as bright as the day they were printed. No tears at the top of the sleeve. I'd grade it in Excellent condition. The record label is a strong NM+ with no mishaps. The vinyl is unplayed and in spectacular condition! Another strong NM+ (I use NM+ because I don't like using the term "Mint"). I grade conservatively as if I was buying the records using "Goldmine" Standards. The price guide lists the sleeve at $70.00 and the record at $25.00. Thanks for looking!
