Description
More beautiful hardcore and minimal techno and restructured sound madness from Richie Hawtin (as Plastikman, Circuit Breaker, F.U.S.E., and collaborative works as Cybersonik and Final Exposure). Richie Hawtin has pushed the boundaries of techno ever since he started recording and DJing; these releases make that extremely clear. From his earliest releases to the most recent album and remixes, his singular and powerful vision of what acid, techno, and minimal soundscapes can become is very apparent. Richie Hawtin truly has no equal...
Nine releases comprising ten slabs of black vinyl. The Mentasm / Vortex split 12" here was written by Richie Hawtin, Joey Beltram and Mundo Muzique and is a rare hoover rave classic. The version I have has the R&S logo on one side and the Plus 8 logo on the other. The Cybersonik 12" is a collaboration between Richie Hawtin, Daniel Bell, and John Acquaviva. The +8-PRO1 release is a split 12" between Richie Hawtin and John Greczula and has the same two tracks on both sides. The Train-Tracs 12" has an edit by Mark Gage of VapourSpace. The Circuit Breaker tracks are all by Richie Hawtin himself. The Circuit Breaker 'The End' album was the final release for Hawtin's Probe label and is the best acid he's ever done, I think. And just because I had an extra copy of each, the last two releases in this auction are recent releases by Hawtin. Release and track information is as follows:

Please note the following. All of these records are in good to very good (VG+) condition. All the sleeves are in very good shape, too, except as follows: one Circuit Breaker 12" single sleeve came unglued and had to be taped shut (but it's not even curled or wrinkled) and I don't have the original sleeve for the Train-Tracs single (the original sleeve was just a generic with a sticker). Aside from the Train-Tracs which I spun out a couple of times, these have all been simply collected and placed in good storage for years. Given I'll never DJ again (thanks to a car accident), I'd rather get these to someone who can and will appreciate them.
I will ship internationally. If you win more than one auction, I will combine shipments so as to save you money. Some of these records are going for incredible sums on gemm and other music selling sites. Check for yourself if you don't believe me. Get them cheap while you can. If you have any questions, please message me.
