Description

Truly a lovely set in very good condition : There are minor and quiet background clicks and pops occasionally but they really don't interfere with the enjoyment of the music. Elizabeth Schwarzkopf (in her most famous role) and Christa Ludwig lead the outstanding cast and Von Karajan conducts a near perfect performance from the cast and the Philharmonia Orchestra, all wonderfully recorded leads the cast: Truly an album to treasure.
