Description

Up for auction are the extremely rare metal acetate records for Richard Hell and the Voidoids “Blank Generation” LP.


Included are two one-sided metal acetate LPs. One containing Side A and the other Side B. Each comes in a generic white cardboard jacket with a Sterling Sound Inc. label with description on it and manila paper inner sleeve.


Each cover label reads:

The b-sides of both appears to have a song stamped into it with lines scatching it out. I’m not sure what it is. I have not tried to play it.


Each record has a couple light scratches.


Both metal acetate have a small chip on the edges (non-playing area) of the lp. One also has a small chip on the non-playing b-side. See images.


Jackets has some wear. One has about a 5 inch split on the center of the top edge.
