Description
Artist: Rex Amburgey and the Apaches
Titles: Let The Four Winds Blow/Why Did It End
Label: Moonees 1006
Condition: M- to NM (Mint Minus to Near Mint Condition)
Type of Music: Pacific Northwest Rock 45. First side a great rockabilly cover of "Let The Four Winds Blow" with a guitar break and screams. Flip is also a good teen rocker where the melody might be of interest to those who collect the teen country crossover sound. Don't have a date on the record but appears to be sometime in the early1960's. This was recorded at Wiley & McNutt Studios in Tacoma,Washington. I had to pleasure of chatting with Rex briefly but that was at least 20 years ago, maybe longer. He performed back then at a tavern in Puyallup, Washington just north of where the annual Western Washington Fair is held.
