The record looks VG++ and plays VG+. Some superficial scuffs not affecting the grooves. No scratches. Grooves do not look gray or heavily worn and there are no spindle marks. Probably played only a few times and well taken care of. Plays with light to moderate crackling due to Riverside mediocre pressing quality.
The cover is VG, maybe VG+. No split seams. There is moderate overall wear and heavier wear and denting at the corners by the pocket. Hint of ring wear on front. Back faded. Cover has "418 West 49th Street New York 19, NY" address on back.
I grade visually using the Goldmine grading code whixch is M, M-, VG++ (or EX), VG+, VG, G, F, P. The highest grade I use is M- and I rarely use it for 50s and 60s Lps. I spot play any potential problem areas and try to grade conservatively. You will be satisfied and no hassles.
