Description: LP released on Temple of Psychic Youth (TOPY) Records (1987). The source recording was made on November 17-18, 1978 by Rev. Jim Jones and his followers. It contains the final moments during the Jonestown mass suicide/massacre. Some speeches, some laughter, some discussions of drinking the Kool-aid, some crying, some final words. The end. Very unnerving. You’ve been warned.
Protective plastic sleeve included.
Condition: Cover/Vinyl is VG+/NM. Cover has price tag mark on top front (see photo) and pinched spine on back lower right (see photo). Otherwise flawless. I am the original owner, and have stored it in a plastic sleeve in a smoke-free home for 24 years. I have played the record ONCE.

Additional Details: Album layout is identical to early Psychic TV (1984-1987) albums. Front cover collage is by Genesis P-Orridge. That's him on the cover on the far right. On some of the early Psychic TV Live albums, a sample track of chirpy laughter can sometimes be heard. It is the sound of Jim Jones laughing during this recording. If you've ever heard it, you will recognize it immediately.
Excerpt from the lengthy back cover notes:
“Recorded by person or persons unknown during thee revolutionary mass suicide at Jonestown, Guyana on November 17 & 18 of members of thee Peoples Temple of thee Disciples of Christ.... Thee audio quality is, needless to say, not so much hi-fi as low-fi. It does remain however a unique document of thee audible and inaudible words spoken by thee Rev. Jim Jones and thee participants of this action as it took place.”
