RARE UNICORN ALBUM! RARELY AVAILABLE ALBUM!
CHILDISH GAMBINO - BECAUSE THE INTERNET This is the original 10 Dec 2013 release on 170g audiophile red translucent vinyl. It is a limited edition of 800, hand-numbered copies - this is #603 / 800. According to Discogs, 368 people "Have" and 1,523 people "Want" this release (pretty safe to assume people have all 800 of these but about half are using Discogs). Median sale price is $200 and high sale price is $350. Only one is available at the time of writing this for sale on Discogs asking $205 including shipping (and has a tear on the cover). This is Discogs release # r5180989.
The subject album sleeve is Strong VG+. The album comes with the original protective sleeve with barcode, the original black generic inner sleeves and the original digital download card (inner sleeves are in excellent condition but not pictured, I'll ship the discs in new audiophile sleeves). The matte finish white cover is in great shape with a clean white front, sharp corners and minimal edgewear. There are a couple dings when looking close up and a small touch of ring wear on the top back that prevent this from being called NM or "like new", but overall it's almost like new and contains all the original accompaniments.
The vinyl plays tests Strong VG+/NM, truly like new. No background or surface noise or other deficiencies are present when play testing the discs. It's very hard to see surface marks on these colored and/or translucent vinyls, but under direct bright light I see maybe two tiny very light surface marks/hairlines on Side 1, one on Side 2, two-three very light surface marks on Side 3, nothing on Side 4. There's probably a few more if I took several more minutes to examine, but it's almost like it's just coming out of the sleeve for the first time visually and certainly sounds brand new.
