Description
Relaxin' With The Miles Davis Quintet Prestige 7129 mono LP. Original Deep groove pressing with yellow fireworks label, 446 W. 50th St., N.Y.C. address, and RVG on the trail-off wax. Sidemen are John Coltrane, Red Garland, Paul Chambers, and Philly Joe Jones. Tunes are: If I Were A Bell/You're My Everything/I Could Write A Book/Oleo/ It Could Happen To You/Woddy'N You.
Condition - Grading is Visual Under Bright Light
Cover is a nice VG+. The front cover graphics are beautiful. The corners are a little rubbed and bumped. A few spots of seam wear on the top edge and some wear along the opening edge. No splits. The back cover slick is nice and bright with a some writing in ink whited-out on the upper left edge. A very pretty cover, classic 50's graphics design by Esmond Edwards.
The cover was photographed with the plastic record bag underneath.
LP is a very strong glossy VG+ overall with some light sleeve wear and a few hairlines, nothing feelable or serious. Labels are beautiful with some very faint spindle marks visible under bright angled light. Has original rice paper sleeve in nice shape that has done a nice job of protecting the record but has some splitting so I will ship the record in another sleeve. A very pretty record. You don't see many of these with the NYC label.
Overall not a perfect or NM but a very nice and clean copy of a rare jazz LP. This copy should make all but the most demanding collector very happy. You will not see too many nicer. Grading
Grading is SS (still sealed), NM, VG+, VG. The myriad of grading systems on Ebay is a good indicator of the subjective nature of grading. In my opinion NM is close to perfect with one or two very minor flaws, VG+ is above average and collectable and VG is average used condition but probably the best choice for playing. I'm a collector and try to describe LPs as accurately as possible, the way I would want them described to me. The pictures should at least give a good indication of the condition of the covers and labels. Please see my seller feedback for comments on my grading. If you don't agree with how I'm calling a record that is your privilege but with all respect please don't bid.
Packaging
LP will be shipped outside of jacket in record bag and boxed for protection using an LP shipping box with cardboard stiffeners.
Terms and Payment
Low starting price and no reserve. Seven day auction. Payment can be made through Paypal, money orders or personal checks. Checks will be held to clear. Paypal payment must be made within 48 hours of auction close or seven days for other forms of payment unless other arragements are made before end of auction.
Shipping and Insurance
I don't profit from shipping. If an overage occurs I will refund the difference.
US
Priority mail with free delivery confirmation in US. Insurance is optional but I cannot be responsible for uninsured shipments.
International
Shipping methods are First Class or Priority International. First Class cannot be tracked. Please see shipping calculator for cost.

Refund Policy
I stand behind what I sell, LP may be returned in original condition for a full refund minus return shipping costs if I am notified within three days of receipt of LP. No rebates if you keep the LP. I don't end auctions early, there is no Buy It Now price, emails asking for a BIK price will be ignored. Good luck!
