Inaugurating here a new sale run of rare, top-choice audiophile disks at V.S.O.V. (Stay Tuned for More!), on offer now is a Near-Mint copy of the famous and coveted Chesky re-issue of one of Fritz Reiner's greatest early RCA Living Stereo orchestral recordings. This Chesky exemplar presents Rimsky-Korsokov's majestic symphonic tone poem "Scheherazade" in arguably the best vinyl version ever engraved. Chesky Records prided itself on offering superlative Audiophile re-issues of the very highest technical refinement and did so by adroitly conveying pure, re-mixed stereo tracks direct from pre-amp to disk-cutting lathe. These unfiltered, ultra-clear stereo tracks were then preserved on highest-grade, heavy-weight vinyl creating a record to treasure and audition for eons. This disk (RC-4 in the Chesky Catalog) was first issued in 1983 and this copy carries hand-engraved deadwax markings: RC-4A S4 (Side 1) and RC-4B-RE 1 (Side 2). A Certain audiophile rarity! Jacket is also Near-Mint. Not a Cut-Out. Inner, plastic-lined paper sleeve is Original and Perfect as well.
