Description

Here we have an ORIGINAL lovely 1969 Reggae LP! It’s “Hey Boy Hey Girl” on PAMA SPECIAL PSP-1002.

It features Derrick & Patsy, The Flames, Stranger Cole, Winston Sinclair, Max Romeo (doing a nice clean song), The Melodians, Monty Morris and The Soul Cats.


The sleeve is nice and clean for a Reggae LP that’s more than fifty years old. There is a discreet crease bottom left front, near the spine. The rear of the sleeve is clean and unwritten-on, with a thumb-print (soot?) at bottom right. A few minutes with an artist’s soft eraser will soon have it looking tickety boo.

Let’s call it an honest collectable VG+

 

The disc is nice and clean and plays very well and doesn’t skip or stick.

There are quite a few visible marks but they don’t interfere with play and most are inaudible (some noticeable clicks at the start of both sides).

It isn’t perfect, but it’s perfectly collectable.

PLEASE NOTE: In the photos, you can see what look like cloudy marks.. but these are.. er.. erm.. clouds reflected when photographing the disc outdoors, where the light is free!

Let’s call it an honest collectable VG/VG+

I’ve seen much rougher copies at record fairs, often at preposterous prices.

I am not a dealer.

I am just an old bloke thinning out his lifetime collection of STUFF before the floor collapses.

I'm selling most of this stuff for much less than I paid for it.

I am certainly NOT INTERESTED IN PROFIT..

..and indeed, seldom make any!

I have described the item to the best of my ability, and everything looks in splendid condition to me.
