Description
This is North Carolina tenor sax player and band leader Wilbert "Red" Prysock playing "Rock "N Roll" on Mercury MG 20088 from 1955. This mono record looks VG++ with minor surface markings but plays NM condition and comes in its original Mercury Records inner sleeve. The jacket is VG++ with writing on the front cover and color ageing on the back cover. The seams and spine are still intact. This comes in a clear, resealable, poly-vinyl protective sleeve. Price guides really swing on this album - from $120 all the way to $300 for a NM copy. You can own this excellent copy for a fraction of that valuation. Amazing condition for an album that is almost 70 years old!!!!
U.S. postage and handling is free on this item. International customers should email me first for a shipping quote.
I tend to grade conservatively. Several customers have left feedback that the records were actually better than stated. However, you have my unconditional guarantee that I will take the records back if you think that the records are not as stated. My reputation is what has kept me in business for 43 years.
If you win multiple auctions, I will combine packaging to save you as much postage as possible. I ship with sturdy cardboard packaging to protect your records. I have been buying and selling records for 43 years now and as of February 2022 I am celebrating 23 years on eBay.
