Description
Estate find.
12" 78 RPM record.
Red Norvo and his selected Sextet: Dizzy Gillespie, Charlie Parker, Flip Phillips, Teddy Wilson, Slam Stewart, Specs Powell, J. C. Heard.
Old store stock from Hart's Records in St. Paul, Minnesota. Hart Callender also was a regional distributor. He closed his operation in 1952 following an auto accident, but removed his entire inventory to the basement of his home, as he always held out hope that he might get back into the record business. The records remained there until his death in 1996. The collection was sold at auction in 1997.
Condition of record is N, or MINT: although this record has NEVER BEEN PLAYED, the Comet label did not use the best quality shellac, so there may be some surface noise when played.
No reserve.
Bid with confidence! I have a full refund policy for any dissatisfaction.
I always combine purchases for multiple winners.
All S & H is based on the actual weight of the package. There is no per item flat rate.
