Artists: Red Nichols and His Five Pennies

Red Nichols and his Five Pennies was one of the most popular bands of the New York Jazz scene in the 1920s. They recorded under different names, including the Arkansas Travelers, The Red Heads, the Louisiana Rhythm Kings, The Charleston Chasers, The Six Hottentots, The Hottentots and Miff Mole and his Little Molers. The band's style was often referred to as "Chamber Jazz". In 1959 Hollywood made a highly fictionalized movie about the band called "The Five Pennies", starring Danny Kaye as Red Nichols.

• Binder Cover: (VG++)Very Good Plus Plus: Cover is in gr8 condition. There is light wear on the front of the binder with corner bumps. Binder spine is fully in tact.
• Shellac Record: (VG++) Very Good Plus Plus: These records sound incredible. This is a set of (4) 78RPM Shellac Records. There are scuffs and scratches that are difficult to see on camera but they play tested without skips or ticks. These shellac 78 records are extremely durable if cared for and handled properly which clearly the previous owner took great care with this collection.

We will provide a prepaid return shipping label for any errors on our part. If a buyer changes their mind, has buyers' remorse, or bought the wrong item, we will still accept it back for a refund but the buyer will be responsible for return shipping costs.
