Description
In the european summer of '99 the RHCP played a short promotional tour. If you bought Californication at selected stores you got a free ticket to a small show. I bought mine at the HMV on Oxford St.
I have a habit of hanging around after any show and trying to get a setlist, plectrum, drumstick...anything.
I got a drumstick and a setlist. The back of the setlist shows that it's handwritten. I've always assumed it's Anthony's writing but someone may be able to show I'm wrong. The Scar Tissue writing looks similar to the autobiography title and I always assumed when handwriting appears on their albums it's his.
The way the writing comes through to the back of the paper shows it's written in marker pen, not a photo copy. Pretty cool, probably my best setlist for this fact, but time to part with it. I'm having a clear out due to need for a downsizing of collection. The auction is for the setlist and stick. I added a picture of the ticket and wristband from my scrapbook just to show what concert it came from.
