Description

I grew up in LA and was fortunate enough to have been into punk from '81 to '86-ish when shows were really wild, police were out of hand, and everything still had a very fresh, raw energy. I have a ton of records from back then – a lot of them original pressings. Generally I'd buy an album, record it to cassette, and then listen to the cassette to limit wear and tear on the vinyl, so most of what I have is in very good shape.
This specific album is in very good condition. The cover has some minor scuffing, wear, and a slight bend in the lower left corner (see closeups), the inner sleeve is – well, plastic, and the vinyl itself has no scratches, scuffs or defects that would affect play.

  • Greg Hetson (guitar) (Circle Jerks, Bad Religion)
  • Ron Reyes (drums) (Black Flag)
Red Cross became "Redd Kross" after a cease and desist letter from the American Red Cross. Steve and Jeff were just kids at the time of this recording, but were hanging out with the likes of Black Flag, and THAT's where the special bonus comes in. Ever heard Henry Rollins' "Punk Rock Hyenas" story about the first time he did L? The woman he talks about in that story was someone I considered my best friend for a couple years, and she was mutual friends with Steve and Jeff. She was as nuts as Henry describes, and if you buy this record from me, you'll also get a story that will fill in some extra blanks in Henry's story and change your perception of the live-action "Masters of the Universe" film.
