Record Power BS500 Bandsaw. Huge Working Capacity and Fantastic Condition. This is a very clean and well maintained example from my professional workshop. I am currently having my annual reorganisation in the workshop and need to make some space so I'm selling some machines that don't get enough use in my business. This bandsaw has huge working capacities - It can resaw timber up to 280mm thick, it has a throat depth of 465mm, it has a huge cast iron fully tiltable table 630mm x 480mm, takes blades from 6mm to 32mm, has a very quiet 2hp induction motor which makes it a pleasure to use, it has solid cast iron bandwheels, very heavy solid steel construction throughout which makes the machine entirely rigid, 100mm dust extraction port and is mounted on jockey wheels with a supplied tote bar that make it really easy to move around the workshop.The machine is 240v so can be used on an ordinary single phase 13 amp circuit. I notice that the sheathing is pulling away slightly on the power lead but there are no loose connections (please see picture) otherwise the machine is in absolutely brilliant condition and has only had very light use. I am selling it with a couple of blades and original instruction manual.The bandsaw is rated for light industrial use but because it runs on 240v it is also perfect for the ambitious hobbyist. The dimensions of the saw are: H1915mm x W890mm x D770mm. The weight of the machine is 162kg. - This machine was £1399 when I bought it eight years ago but I need the space so I am delighted for someone to pick up a bargain. Please bear in mind before bidding that you are going to need something like a van with a tail lift to cart this away! Obviously I'm happy to help at my end. Condition is Used.
