 For your consideration is the original MONO Verve pressing of Kerouac's Readings on the Beat Generation.
The record is a nice VG. Apart from the occasional pop you would think the American hero was reading in your house.
Cover has a seam split across the entire top seam and the first 2"s of the spine. The title on the spine is uneffected by this split.
The Robert Frank cover photo and back art is near perfect,. The splits (which are not visible from the front and back of the LP) are really the only flaws.
This incredibly rare and influential record features readings from:

    Desolation Angels (an unpublished novel 1959)
    San Francisco Blues (an unpublished book of poetry 1959)
    Mexico City Blues (1959)
    Old Angel Midnight (1959)
    The Beginnings of Bop (from Escapade magazine 1959)
    The Subterrean (1958)
    Neal and the 3 Stooges (short story from New Edition 2)

This is really a nice copy of a historical record that is now almost 50 years old!
