Description

RAY TERRACE   original record from 1968  * 10 different songs on a 33rpm 12 inch Record Tower ST 5105  Record Vinyl is ** VG+++ **  and Labels are ** NM **  condition. The Vinyl is in  Super good condition. There may be a few scratches and scuffs on the vinyl, but this one is is really nice shape. You may hear some noise depending on the quality of your player or condition of your needle. The labels look PERFECT.  The cover is in nice condition with some ringwear on the back, a 3 inches taped split on the bottom seam, damage to the top left corner and some other minor flaws, but this is a solid cover with a nice picture on the front.  Cover is in   overall VG++  condition.  If you have any questions, look at the picture very carefully or give me a call. This is a VERY hard to find record that books for over $80.00 in mint!! Some have sold for over $100.00 recently on ebay. I will start the bidding at a low  $5.99  Don't forget to bid, or you might get left out on this one. Put your bid high enough to make sure you get it. You will not be disappointed with this record.     I have listened to parts of this lp and it sounded great. I do not have the time to listen to every second of every lp I have listed, so you may come across a pop or a little noise some where on this record, that does not mean it doesn't deserve the grade I have given it. If I have graded a record VG+++ or better, it is because the vinyl look almost unplayed, and what I heard listening to it was really beautiful. As with most records, the sound quality depends on the quality of your player and especially the needle. I have 2 players, and when I play these lp's on my better player I hardly hear any noise, but if I put it on my other player with the older needle, I will hear some noise. PLEASE take that into consideration when you play a record you have bought from me. Maybe on my player it sounds better than on yours because you might need a new needle.

I am going to be listing 50 lp's this weekend. most of them are htf jazz etc. from the 1950's. This will take me a little while so please be patient, and check back in later tonight or tomorrow. Thanks for looking, and happy bidding. I am back selling and I have a lot of really great new 45's and LP's that I am going to be putting up for auction, so check out all of my auctions, And save me as one of your favorite sellers. I have a collection of over 17,000 45's, and 12,000 LP's that I have available for you to purchase. I will be listing some of the more desirable ones for you to bid on each week. If you have certain ones you are interested in, please contact me with your wish list and I will do my best to help you with your collection. If you win one of my auctions and would like to save on shipping, please email me with a list of other records that you are looking for. If I have one or more, I would be glad to give you a fair price and send them with your order to save you $$ on shipping.

I will combine orders and discount shipping. Shipping cost is $3.00 for the first 45 rpm record and 50 cents for each additional 45 you purchase. For EP's I need to charge $4.00, and for LP's I will need to ship them economy shipping in order to keep the cost at $4.00. Any additional LP will cost $1.00 more in shipping charges. If you would like it faster and are willing to pay more, please let me know. If you pay the same day as you win, I will make every effort to take those purchases and mail them out the next day. Your record will come with a paper sleeve, and it will be packaged as safely and securely as I can make it. In the case of LP's, I will send the lp's with the record out of the cover to prevent any seam spliting. Both record and cover will be put in a clear plastic sleeve to keep them safe. This plastic sleeve is not part of the auction, but I am throwing it in the deal for FREE. If on the 45's you are interested in having an original company sleeve, I would be willing to add .25 cents to the cost of your purchase and send it with the record. You will need to contact me and let me know that is what you want to do. For some of the rarer labels, I probably would not have a company sleeve. If there is an issue with the b-side label, I will take the picture of that side instead of the A- side just so you the bidder can observe for yourself any problems that the label may have. If you would like to listen to a record, all you need to do is email me with this request, and I will make arrangments for you to call me and listen to the record over the phone.

I am willing to ship international, and the rate for sending a record to any of the countries I have sent records to so far is as follows:  45's are $7.00 for the first one, and $1.00 more per record after the first. The cost for LP's is $15.00 for the first one, and $5.00 for each one after the first. I have recently sent records to Japan, United Kingdom, Canada, France, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, Austria, Russian federation, Belarus, Denmark, Switzerland, Mexico, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Poland and Brazil. I am willing to ship anywhere except to South Korea at this time. Note to my international buyers: My feedback score for item description from my out of country buyers has been going down because of some scores of 4 instead of 5, but yet the comments to me are that everything was great. If you feel that I have misrepresented an item, I would rather give you a refund than have you give me a low mark. Please contact me first if you have any concerns, and please make sure when you are satisfied with your purchase, that you give me  a 5 score instead of a 4. Thanks.

GRADING : I am a collector myself, so I want to grade as accurately and fairly as I possibly can. With that being said sometimes 2 people can disagree on the condition of an item, so if you are not happy, please contact me so I can resolve the problem before you give me negative feedback. My goal is to treat you the way I want to be treated, so I will be honest with you and give you the service you deserve.  Thank You.

FEEDBACK :  I  believe as the seller, that when you the buyer have successfully completed your end of the transaction, I should leave you feedback. I will try to leave feedback the day I send out your item, and I will tell you that it has been sent. After you receive your purchase, Please have the courtesy to do the same for me.  My desire is to build up a reputation as one of the most respected sellers on ebay, so I am striving to receive all perfect marks from you the buyer. If I did not meet your expectations, please contact me, so I can rectify the problem before you leave low marks or open up a case against me. Improving my service to you and to others is always my top priority.  Thank You.

I grade visually and then I play the record and listen to the sound quality to determine a final evaluation that I give the record. The only time I will sell a record below a VG grade, would be when the record is one that is rare or very hard to find in any condition. I also try to be very precise with my grading so I break down the grading scale into far more parts than most sellers will do.

Here is my Grading Scale for record vinyl and label : Please understand that the grade is usually a combination of visual appearance and sound quality. I might give a record that has a few very minor vinyl flaws a grade of NM- if when I play that record it plays without any problems or noise that detract from the listening pleasure of that record.

Mint: I will not use this grade unless the record is still in unopened shrink wrap.

NM :This is a record that looks and sounds ALMOST perfect.

NM- : This record is basically as nice as the NM record, but it will have 1 or 2 more very slight imperfections.

VG+++ : This record would be almost the same as the NM- record, but it might have 1 more slight imperfection that in my mind keeps it from meeting that higher standing.

VG++ :  This is a really beautiful record, but it will have a few more slight imperfections and you might hear a little noise or static. Nothing too serious though.

VG+ :  A very nice record, but it may show slight signs of wear such as, Light scuffs or very light scratches that should not affect the listening experience. There will be some spots where you will hear some noise, but nothing bad. This would still be a good record to play in a jukebox.

VG :  A nice record, but it will have more of the obvious flaws than a record in VG+ condition would have. Still a nice record, but it will have some noise.

VG- :  Still plays fine, but it is not a beautiful record by any stretch of the imagination, and you will definitely hear noise when you play it. Does not skip.

VG-- : Plays fine, but has more scratches and is noisier than what a VG- record sounds or looks like.Does not skip.Only good to fill a gap so you can have that record until a better one comes along.

Because I have recently started listing and selling LP's I have had to grade the LP covers. This is a little more tricky, but I have been using the above grading scale to some degree and trying to list any major concerns that the cover may have. I will give the cover an OVERALL grade that is consistent throughout all of my LP listings. I do not want to get to the point where I feel I have to list every tiny Scuff, Mark, Rub or soil spot that may be on the cover. If you are a person who is super picky about exactly what the cover looks like, then either enlarge the photo and look at it very closely, or send me an email that explains what you may be concerned about, and I will send you more details about the cover. If after you have received your record and you feel I was way off in describing the condition, please email me so I can take care of any concerns before you give me negative feedback or anything less than a 5 star rating. Thanks.

I am available to answer any questions you may have, so feel free to email me whenever you have a question. I do have a (regular) job, so if I don't get back to you as soon as you would like, it's because I am unavailable until I get Home. I will do my best to respond ASAP. Thank you, David
