Description

Very rare original US 1st press on the black Atlantic label.  Deep groove pressing.  Mono.  The music on this LP is outstanding; some of Ray's best work.  Jacket is beautiful, with strong seams, very clean front cover and very clean and bright white rear cover.  I took close up pictures of the main, but very minor defects on the jacket.  This has been in my personal collection for about 10 years.  Record has light marks.  I took a close up picture of one of the marks.  Record plays well with great fidelity.  No distortion or groove wear on my high end MC cartridge.  The mono music comes through big and strong.  As with virtually every Atlantic black label pressing I've had--regardless of how nice the record looks visually--there is some surface noise, and some pops and clicks.  But the fidelity is wonderful, super strong and very clear.
Cleaned on my Clearaudio Matrix record cleaner.  All LPs listed are from my personal collection. 
Jacket: VG++, approaching NM Vinyl visual: Side 1, VG+; Side 2, VG++ Vinyl play grade: VG+/VG+ (my system picks up any noise; record may play quieter/better on your system)
