Philips white label "DJ Rush" copy of Zodiac AZ-1011 released 1965

the DJ Rush was normally used as an EP by Philips to promote their LP issues to radio.
Occasionally a single was promoted this way. The records were sent out in plain brown
or green cardboard sleeves, to save the radio library transferring it to a more robust
cardboard sleeve from the generic paper ones as was common practice. Philips were
obviously hoping to repeat the recent top 40 hit successes of She's A Mod and Yo Yo
but this did not eventuate. record has the release date 20-1-65 written in blue biro in
small numbers on the label of each side.

record is VG+ visually, there being only a small amount of light marks, and plays through
both sides cleanly.

A great copy of a rare record.
