Ray Barretto - El Watusi - 1967 1st pressing Red & White Island UK Original.
A very rare and unusual early Red & White Island release here, and packed with great Latin and Mod tracks!!
Sleeve is a fantastic Ex+, just the lightest of age wear to the rear, solid and hard to better for sure.
Disc is a solid Ex, barely played with just a few very light surface/handling marks, absolutely no scratches or anything serious, it plays beautifully.
Original Ray Barretto albums are very difficult to find these days, they're usually trashed as they are out-and-out dance party records, and the tiny numbers sold in the UK make this one virtually impossible, I've only seen two in 20 years, and this one is at a bargain start price!
Highly sought after by Reggae, Island label and Mod/Latin/Jazz collectors alike, one in this condition is a great addition and show piece in any collection.
