  This is a Raw Power - You Are The Victim LP on Meccano Records of Torino Italy from 1984. On a 10 scale the vinyl and jacket are a 9. I bought this from Chris BCT of California a long time ago. Chris put out great hardcore punk tape compilations around 1983 which featured Raw Power and others. This is the first Raw Power LP,it was very hard to find and I've never seen another one. I will try to recall a bit of the Raw Power story,I believe I have messed it up once or twice. Giuseppe and Mauro were brothers. Giuseppe played guitar and sang a bit.Mauro was the main singer.Helder was the drummer,with cowbell,Maurizio played guitar with the amazing Davide just joining on guitar. Then there was Silvio who sang several songs and played bass.We'll talk of Silvio in a bit. So,Raw Power came out of the box as one of the best HC punk thrash bands ever. The addition of Davide and better production on stuff like Screams From The Gutter only made them more powerful.However Silvio, when he sang, was one of the most crazed screamers ever to be part of the HC punk landscape. Silvio sings some songs on this record. He would later shred his voice and Davide had to step up on the following tours to sing Silvio's songs,he did a good job.
