Original OZ LP released in 1982 on Raven Records. Cat: RVLP05.  

These 18 tracks were originally reissued on three Raven EPs, explaining the awkward title. It's an excellent sampler of four '60s Australian garage bands the Missing Links, the Purple Hearts, the Throb, and the Wild Cherries who were totally unknown outside of Oz. the Missing Links in particular were an explosive combo, sounding like a mating between the Troggs and the Who with their frenzied feedback guitar breaks and sore-throat vocals. They're represented by six tracks here, including two recorded by an earlier, totally different incarnation of the band, in which they were a bit like a charmingly sloppy Kinks. The rest of the album is more erratic, but still worthwhile. the Purple Hearts play respectably tough British-style R&B/rock; the Throb do a vicious cover of the folk standard "Black," with shrieking guitar plucks; and the Wild Cherries are the most progressive-oriented (though least interesting) of the lot, with soul and hard rock influences.

There are no signs of spindle marks on labels. Record is in Mint condition. Cover has a few tiny marks on back and is in Near Mint condition.
