Description

Thick as a Brick is the fifth studio album by the English band Jethro Tull, released in 1972. The album is notable for only including one song, which spans the entire album. Thick as a Brick was deliberately crafted in the style of aconcept album, as well as a "bombastic" and "over the top" parody of the then-prevalant vogue for concept albums. The original packaging, designed like a newspaper, claims the album to be a musical adaptation of an epic poem by a (fictional) 8-year-old genius, though the lyrics were actually written by the band's frontman, Ian Anderson. The album was a commercial and critical success and topped the US charts

Condition - the vinyl is very good both sides, just 1 small scuff at start side 1 which doesn't affect play, Labels both good.  Covers and inside pages of this unusual 'newspaper style' cover are good, just small ink 'cyprus' on front and library code on back corner - this was a radio station copy - see below.
