Available here is a unique, (7)-LP box set: "Sounds of Solid Soul - Volume 4 - Classic Black". Hosted by DJ Bill Haywood, this 7-album set is a military radio show featuring a variety of classic soul music. Several volumes were released in the early 1970's, and each featured a wonderful array of soul and rhythm & blues classics. This one is no exception. With this set, each side includes DJ Bill Haywood's voice for only a few seconds at the very beginning and at the end of the songs. There are a total of 13 sides (one side is blank), and a total of 52 classic songs! The vinyl is glossy with mostly smudgy-type marks, very few scratches and none that are egregious. These discs should play well. All new LP sleeves are included, and all labels are in great shape. No writing anywhere. The box is solid, hinge still works great, still includes styrofoam pad for LP protection. Otherwise normal wear on the box, one corner is split and tiny notches of paper loss here and there (see photos for condition of all). Tracklist:
