Description
Hey there. You are bidding on the original 1958 Argo (LP 631) release of "Swingin' The Loop" by Chicago jazz saxophonist Vito Price. (Back reads "Swinging The Loop" by Vito Price and Company.)
If you are looking at this, then you know what it is, which brings us to condition. I took this by a local used record store of good report with 40 years of experience. The proprietor said it was close to NM, but to be on the safe side, he would grade it VG++. It is in original shrink wrap which has been opened and torn as seen in photo.
This is a "No Reserve" auction with a reasonable starting price, and "Free Shipping" to boot (lower 48), so someone is going to be very happy. That someone could be you, but you can't win if you don't bid! And, if that is not enough, I will accept returns (within stated parameters) if you are unhappy with your purchase. So don't miss this opportunity to score a rare vintage jazz LP at good price. Feel free to email me with any questions. Good luck and happy bidding!
UPDATE - ATTENTION! - UPDATE
Since there have been some different questions about this, I thought I would add some photo's. One is of the label, and one is of the cardboard sleeve showing a slight curve to it (without the record inside). The VG++ grade was for the actual record, I do not know if the sleeve would grade as high. The shrink wrap is torn bottom front and back. Also, much to my displeasure, in an attempt to answer someone's question, I picked up the record to carry it into better light. It and the cardboard sleeve were in a clear album protector. Unfortunately, the record slipped out of the album protector and landed straight down, perpendicular, onto my hardwood floor. It was covered by the internal dust sleeve, and does not appear to be any worse for the wear. (I did however clean the floor with some bleach and water 2 days ago which I hope would have dissipated by now). All that to say, as I stated, I will accept returns, so bid with confidence as the winning bidder will be able to insure this is to their liking. Again, feel free to email with any questions. Much thanks!
