All records are from my personal collection... I am forced to downsize and as silly as it may sound, I truly want the pieces of my collection to go to people that will enjoy having them. Good luck, bidding!

Up for auction today is a great vinyl LP album.

End of the Century is the fifth studio album by the American punk rock band the Ramones, released on February 4, 1980, through Sire Records. The album was the band's first produced by Phil Spector, though he had offered the band his assistance earlier in their career. With Spector fully producing the album, it was the first release that excluded original member Tommy Ramone, who in 1978 left the band but produced their previous album Road to Ruin . 

The songs on End of the Century were written primarily to expand the band's fan-base, straying from the band's original punk genre and steering toward a more pop oriented sound. The lyrics on the album deal with various different things, ranging from drug addictions to the band's lifestyle while touring. The album also features a cover of The Ronettes' piece "Baby, I Love You," as well as successors to previous Ramones songs "Judy Is a Punk" and "Havana Affair."

A note on condition...

I’m not a pro or a record store owner, but I have been collecting for a long time and have done my best to describe the condition.

Condition: 

Record: This album was not play-tested, only visually graded as I am listing over 10,000 albums and cannot do every one. 

I would say EXCELLENT to NEAR MINT as there are no noticeable surface scratches, marks or defects. I do not believe I played this album very much as I listened to alot of cassettes back then.

Jacket: VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT. Light surface scratching from storage. Minimal ring wear on back and/or front. No splits of any kind - extremely minor edgewear.

All in all, this is a great LP -- described and graded visually -- at a remarkable starting price.

Again, please remember that I am not an expert but I try to grade very fairly.  I visually grade all records. Please keep in mind that some of these records/vinyl are pre-owned and over 30 or 40 years old.  Some may have some slight surface noise and/or a crackle and/or other imperfections and will NOT sound like a “new” record, unless listed as mint/unopened.
