Rare vintage Columbia 78 RPM shellac record featuring the American duettists Layton and Johnstone with piano accompaniment. This highly collectible double-sided record contains two tracks: • Side A: 'Heartaches' (Klenner & Hoffman) - Catalog number CA 12116 • Side B: 'Makin' Faces at the Man in the Moon' (Smith & Hoffman) - Catalog number CA 11896 This is an original UK pressing manufactured by Columbia Graphophone Co. Ltd, London, E.C.1, featuring the distinctive dark blue Columbia label with gold lettering and the 'Magic Notes' trademark. The record is identified as DB 684 and marked 'Made in England'. Both sides play at 78 RPM (Speed 70). A wonderful piece of musical history from the early-to-mid 20th century that would make an excellent addition to any vintage record collection or display piece for enthusiasts of early recorded music.
