Description
- ORIGINAL GERMAN PRESSING BY ROUGH TRADE LABEL
- FEATURES EXTRA TRACK "STRETCH OUT AND WAIT"
- MINT CONDITION DISC AND NEAR-MINT SLEEVE
This rare version of The Smiths Barbarism Begins at Home / Shakespeare's Sister 12" single was pressed in Germany by Rough Trade and features the extra track "Stretch Out and Wait". This disc is in mint condition (see photos and provenance note below), and is identified as one of this pressing by the matrix/runout hand-etched wax stamps between the grooves and labels which read:
Side A: RTD 021T A G.P.
Side AA: RTD 021T B G.P.
The sleeve has a few minor creases, dents and residues, probably from handling at the store it was bought from, so I'm ranking its condition as near-mint (see photos).
PROVENANCE NOTE: The vinyl records I list are for a collector who has one or more duplicates of each of those listed. They have either never been played or very lightly played. He purchased them mostly in the year of their release, mostly at various record stores around the US. Most sleeve degradation is due to shipping to and storage at these record stores, with most of them being at mint or near-mint condition.
