This is a highly desired HULL Lp, by this legendary vocal group THE AVONS. I recently placed this lp on ebay with no one reaching my reserve, so I am reposting it with a lower reserve.And it gives me pleasure to make it available to collectors searching for the best lps in great condition. It is an original '60 thick, rigid, heavy vinyl Lp with numbers stamped in the trail off.It is a deep groove u.s. pressing with red HULL labels #HLP-1000. Print on labels is black and sharp. Tunes are: WHAT LOVE CAN DO/BABY/WHAT WILL I DO/ SOMEONE FOR EVERYONE/A GIRL TO CALL MY OWN/ON THE ISLAND/ONCE UPON A TIME/YOU ARE SO CLOSE TO ME/OUR LOVE WILL NEVER END/FAIRY TALES/ GONNA CATCH YOU NAPPIN. On the back cover is Hull Records Inc, 1595 Broadway New York NY. Front of cover is in the most beautiful condition, with a glossy lamination that has just a hint of wear, the back also in nice condition, just minor wear. Spine is strong, NO flaking, and has perfect spine print. Top seam also has print in perfect condition, Not worn, or flaking. Spine and top seam are Not split. Bottom seam has 1 small center split and another small split far right. Corners are Not bent or pushed in and there are NO cut outs. The lp has very close to perfect labels, with only one extremely faint spindle trail on each side. NO stains, wear, tears, or writing. Vinyl is very glossy and appears hardly played. It has NO dulling groove wear,defects, scratches, or warps.Does have a handful of light surface scuffs mostly on one side. And just a few on the other side. I played excerpts from every tune, they sounded loud & clear with NO loud or continuous background noise. Just played with occasional soft background ticking here and there. I acquired this rare gem from the original buyer. He bought the lp when it first came out, he is 63. Today this lp is very sought after, actually the Hull label pressed only 3 lps this one, Shep & the Limelites, & a various artists. And in this condition the lp is a great investment, and a serious addition to any rare record collection. I hate parting with it, but it does give me pleasure to make it available to the rare record collector, with what I feel to be a reasonable reserve. And in great CONDITION: COVER VG+++/LP NM--. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND I USE A VIDEO CAMERA MY PHOTOS LOOK TERRIBLE. THE LABELS ARE A PERFECT DARK RED WITH SHARP CRISP BLACK PRINT. IT WAS HARD FOR ME TO GET GOOD PICTURES.
