Roy Hamilton "The Panic Is On"

One of the most highly sought after and prized beat ballads of all time on an extremely rare UK MGM release from 1964.

The LEGENDARY Roy Hamilton (Trivia Fact - Elvis Presley was one of his biggest fans and collected all his recordings!!) puts his Soulful might into a Bert Keyes arrangement that wrings every last drop of Soul from his awesome voice.

A "MUST HAVE" for any lover of true Soul - especially if you covet these fabulous recordings in their finest and rarest format.

During a time when many US 45's were pressed on Styrene and suffered the inevitable wear and surface noise, British 45's were still pressed on high quality vinyl, offering durability and a much higher level of fidelity. One listen will convince you of the superiority of this press.

The vinyl is in VG+ condition. There are some scuffs and marks to the playing surface which DO NOT reflect in the quality of the sound reproduction. Record plays loud and clear with no hiss, pops etc on my Technics SL1210. Label has some small initials on the flip side label. This is a 45 whose rarity is reflected in the starting price.

Note there is NO RESERVE on this 45.
