Description

Rare NW Rockabilly Acetate 45 Clayton Watson" Everybody's Boppin' B/W "Suzanne" on Audiodisc This is an unreleased Acetate/Test Press outtake from1958. Recorded at Pat Mason's Cascade Club in Springfield, Oregon. Both sides are one of a kind and unreleased. Both sides were written by Clayton and he signed this "To Jeff, From The Unheralded King Of Rock and Roll Clayton Watson". This was a term I applied to him many years ago. As a teen, Clayton idolized the New Orleans Shuffle Drummers, Charles Connor and Earl Palmer. He played a left handed shuffle like no other kid from Centralia Washington ever could. Wrote most of his own songs too. Clayton told me he left a tape at Specialty Records that they probably threw in the trash. These acetates do not play mint , they are Test Pressings.
