Welcome back to another round of the world's rarest Hip-Hop vinyl, courtesy waterpolo85.
For your consideration, we have: We Got Alot (Various Artists), including "Catch A Wreck" by Wild Sniper, "Watch Me Shine" by Mighty Oxx, "Guard Your Style" by Flipsta, "Styles That I Swing" by Flipsta, "Addicted To A Dollar" by Wild Sniper, and 6 more on CM Records, Brooklyn NY, circa 1993. Super rare indie compilation from NY, this is a nice snapshot of Brooklyn-based rap in the early '90s...production and mic skills very reminiscent of Gang Starr and the like. Hard breaks and samples, intricate rhymes, all that you would expect from MC's with names like 'Wild Sniper' and 'Mighty Oxx!' As always on these types of albums there are a couple of duds, but the hit ratio is high, and several cuts deserve to be heard alongside some of the better random rap I've heard on mix CDs of late.
Condition: this copy is M-, absolutely beautiful. The great B&W cover has a bottom seam split, otherwise fine.
