Description
Ultra rare and most likely a one off prototype of a never released design of the Parker 25 retractable pencil.
This version of the classic design is coated in white epoxy resin and has a black dimpled end and clip displaying the Parker logo in white. Additionally, there are 2 bands of colour around the barrel, one dark blue, the other pillar box red.
Other rare versions of the white Parker 25's have a dark blue and a light blue Band. This is totally unique due to the red band and it's a pencil.
There are to my knowledge, only 2 other items in the Parker 25 white range that have the same blue and red bands, one of them is a rollerball, the other a fountain pen. I know this as all 3 were a gift to me as a young teenager from a person who became a top Parker executive. If I ever find the others, they may well be listed.
The pencil comes in very good used condition with hardly any sign of wear, it has the original eraser intact which plugs the pencil lead reservoir.
It is in fully working order with a strong push top mechanism, although pencil leads are required. Standard Parker pencil leads can and should be used. Simply press the top as you would a ballpoint pen uniting the pencil lead feeds through to the required length. When finished, press and hold the top and gently place the lead on a hard surface and the lead easily pushes back in.
Grab yourself a piece of Parker history that I suspect you will never see for sale anywhere ever again.
