Description

Here is a great rare vintage original pre-production version of "With a Little Luck" by Paul McCartney & Wings.

I'm not sure if "acetate" is the correct term but it's definitely a demo test pressing.  See photos.

Possibly an alternate take.

Sounds to my ears like it is pre-mixing and mastering.

Vinyl has numerous surface marks that cause low noise and a few soft clicks.

Sounds fine once the song starts.

Label is handwritten "Paul McCartney n Wings With A Little Luck April 01 78  .9/.12/16"

Label is printed "P19878 MPL Communications, Inc.  Available only to technical and other authorized personnel for the limited purposes of testing and review.  NOT TO BE PUBLICLY PERFORMED, REPRODUCED, SOLD OR OTHERWISE DISTRIBUTED." 

This is probably a Canadian test pressing, making it about ten times as rare as US and British test pressings.

Always loved this song.

This test pressing has sold for 103 dollars.

A great rare piece of Beatles related history.
