Description

It's the Beatles "White Album," in all its glory.  There's quite a story to do with the recording sessions which you should check out, if you're not totally familiar with Beatle lore.  Now, the album for sale here:  I honestly do not remember when I received it.  I know it wasn't 1968 when it first was released, more likely 1969 or even 1970.  I know Capitol started punching holes in album covers to designate promo copies in '69, but they kept doing that for years.  That way they didn't have to produce special promo labels, they'd just punch a hole in the upper right or left corner of retail copies.  I would mumble a curse. upon them, but otherwise I might not even have the album.  So:  The album is still factory sealed, thus the vinyl is guaranteed to be as mint as it's possible to be.  So are the labels on both discs and the cover and art itself--except for the hole!  There is no serial number on the cover.  I wasn't even aware of that until recently, and I'm an old radio DJ!  I also had never noticed the tiny "STEREO" on the back, which this album does have.  I feel the pangs of "are you sure you want to lose this one?"  It is just a huge legend of an album.  I shall make this an auction, and you can determine its value.  I am NOT going to open it up!  Also, I can't accept a return once you have unsealed it-which I'm sure you understand.  It will be carefully and professionally packed and shipped to you and I trust you will enjoy it.
