Description
This is a wonderful white vocal group lp. It is an original U.S. deep groove pressing on thick rigid vinyl. With red COED label #LPC-905 called, YOU BELONG TO ME, THE DUPREES. The songs on this lp have a special place in my heart, I was a young boy when they were being played on the radio. They are as exciting to listen to today, as they were back then. This is a tough lp to find, and when you do unearth a copy, it is usually in the worst condition. This one is in very nice condition. Labels are near perfect, with only a few very faint spindle trails, NO wear, stains, writing, tears, fading, etc. The vinyl on both sides has a deep glossy shine with NO scratches, dulling groove wear, defects, mold, warps, etc. And at first glance under indirect light, the lp looks like new. Under closer inspection however you do see a handful of light surface scuffs on each side. I played excerpts from both sides, and they sounded beautiful, clean and crystal clear vocals and instruments. With NO loud, annoying or continous background noise.I did hear some very soft background ticking here and there that does not take away from these great songs. The cover has mild wear, on the front and back. Bottom seam is a little worn, and also corners. Seams and spine are not split, spine is not flaking and has all of its print. There are NO bent corners, cut outs, writing, stickers, etc. Keep in mind when viewing my photos, everything looks better in person. The label especially looks horrible in my photo.
