Rare ORIGINAL 1963 LP album by the Chantays, featuring Pipeline and Sleep Walk.
NOTICE that this album cover has PIPELINE as the top word, not The Chantays as the top words, like most other ones. Also, notice the label on the vinyl record had Dot in 3 different colors, unlike the remakes. This STEREO album was their first of four, all from the 1960s. It's on the Dot label, DLP 25516. An original old album from these 17 year-old musicians, except for one guy who was 18. Hard album to find in any condition. SEE OUR other original album listings also, from several artists!
COVER: Very colorful and in very good (+) condition, with no splits along the edges, just normal age wear. All old LPs have minor rubs and wear on front and back cover, as shown in our photos, but this one has minimal wear. No marks or pencil/pen markings. No stickers. No circular wear. Very good to be 55 years old!
VINYL RECORD: We rate the vinyl in very good (+) condition. No significant issues, no big scratches, nothing like that at all, only a few minor needle marks and rubs. Should play just fine and dandy. Clean label print and color. No markings. No warping. No stickers.
We don't have a player so we cannot play the record. It should play just fine. View and zoom in on all our photos. From a clean smoke-free environment.
NOTE: Lots of folks frame these old album covers and hang them in their music room, den, college dorm, or about anywhere. They add a nice touch to any space.
