This sale is for a mega rare Northern soul 45 by Little Dooley and is the very first pressing on the small local label Koko, cat# 742, heres an email someone sent me with some cool info that you may want to know....

Dear the_plastic_factory,

Hi, Did you know that this is the first local issue Ko KO with the great "If I Ever Needed You on the flip.
"You Better Be Ready" was picked up by USA records for national distubution, on their Maroon colored Ko Ko label, but this did NOT have "If I Ever Needed You on the flip!!!
I mention this as "If I Ever Needed You" has been getting plays at Northern Soul venues of late! "You Better Be Ready" has had plays for many years.

I have just done a short video and put it on youtube of this actual record i am selling, i have played it on the vid so you can actually hear any hiss,crackles and have turned the treble up to show these more clearly.

The condition of the record is excellent, and i would grade a strong VG/VG+ on both sides, it starts with a slight fuzz on the intro and outro but quickly fades as the track starts, 'If i ever needed you' has a couple of light clicks here and there but very minor but listen for yourself it plays awesome both sides..
