Rare NW Rockabilly Rex Amburgey And The Apaches "Let The Four Winds Blow" /"Where Will It Stop" Moonees #1006 c1962. Recorded at The Wiley-Mcnatt Studios in Tacoma Washington. Bill Wiley rigged up a primitive reverb chamber in his basement studio in North Tacoma. He was a very inventive engineer for the times. Bill Wiley died in a car wreck in the 70's and his studio contents were put in storage for 40 years. These records came from that storage. Rex said the band shared a bottle to warm up before recording this. Lead Guitar work is by the great Ty Willard who played with Buck Owens when he toured the NW in the 50's. Moonees Records was named after a Tavern in Puyallup Washington.A version exists with The Ventures backing him up but was not released at that time. Record is UNPLAYED!
