Rare Minty Minor Threat In My Eyes 3rd pressing Punk straight edge
Minor Threat In My Eyes is an iconic record that inspired and enlightened many back in the day and I suppose that I was no different. This record is from my personal collection and has never been played. It is scratch and mar free. The label is also in mint condition with all of the factory uniqueness that is indicative of these early low budget pressings (See photos). The cover is in Near mint condition with very little scarring on the edges (see photos) As on all of these old Dischord records the glue on the edges of the cover has dried up and separated but it has not been altered from its original condition or reglued. The insert/lyric sheet is as the day it was inserted into the cover. It was only unfolded once so I could scan it.
All in all I doubt if a nicer more original copy of this rare piece of vinyl exists. If you have any questions please ask in advance of bidding. Even if you have this record in your collection I doubt it is as nice as this one. If you don’t have it then this is your chance.
This is the 3rd pressing (Black Vinyl, Light Blue Label with Red Ink) of Minor Threat's 2nd 7" EP, “In My Eyes”, released in December 1981. Dischord No. 5 / Limp Records No. 41. Only 2,000 copies were pressed of this 3rd and final pressing, which would have been made in 1982. Cover is printed on non-glossy, very thick paper (or thin cardstock). Black vinyl, blue label.
