Extremely rare Led Zeppelin self titled Lp with very rare label.This is their first Lp on Atlantic label # SD 8216.U.S. Pressing.Extremely rare Purple and Brown colored Atlantic label.Not many of these made it out of the factory before the label was changed to the standard common red and green Atlantic label.In fact the 1999 Record Album Price Guide by Tim Neely has a quote under price that says Possible Mispress with the Purple and Brown label.Lists way back in 1999 for $62.50 to $125.00 to $250.00.That was 5 years ago so I'm sure this has gone up.Cover in stunning shape with beautiful seams with no splits.Even has original shrinkwrap firmly attached.Although the seam wrap is securely attached it has a slight 1 inch split on top and bottom in right corner of shrinkwrap but is very minor as it still is firmly attached and will not come off unless you tear it off.Gorgeous cover.Record very playable with very light to light scratches along with 3 to 4 on each side I can feel lightly with my fingernail.Has a light scuff or two also.Labels very nice see picture.Extremely scarce and rarely seen.Buyer to pay $5.00 shipping in the U.S.
