LED ZEPPELIN Led Zeppelin III Rare and becoming increasingly harder to find genuine Original 1970 UK First Press 10-track stereo LP on the Plum & Red Atlantic label with Jimmy Page and Peter Grant label credit below the album title, 'Do What Thou Wilt' / 'So Mote It Be' hand-scratched into the run-outs, housed in the classic die-cut laminated gatefold picture sleeve with the unusual front panel top & bottom opening found only on the very First pressings (later issues discarded this). A remarkable rock essential which continues to stand the test of time!.
NOT PLAY GRADED: VISUAL GRADING ONLY
I cannot guarantee exactly how this LP will sound on your turntable/system - Cartridge and stylus profile, tracking weight, Arm VTA, arm type all go to make a difference to the sound and performance of any LP/single being played.
Please view all images carefully before placing a bid.
THE COVER: The laminated gatefold single opening card cover shows only light evidence of age related wear to the top and bottom opening edges. The edges show light age related fethering. The surface shows only the faintest hint of scuffing due to storage, there is light creasing with very light bubbling to the creasing. There is also light discolouration to the top and bottom edges. The spine remains intact with again age related creasing and light wear. The spines text remains visible and legible. All 4 corners show age related wear with creasing. All 4 corners show age related rounding. The opening edges remain clean with light age related fethering. There are no other signs of damage. I have graded the cover in VERY GOOD+ condition.
THE BACK COVER: The back mirrors the front in condition. I have graded the back cover in VERY GOOD+ condition.
THE INNER SLEEVE: Plain White
THE VINYL: Both sides of this vinyl LP still retains all of their original lustre and sheen with no dulling and in daylight look awesome. Placed under a 100w bulb there hairline marks, there are very small surface scuffs. There are no light or major scratches which can be seen or felt. I have graded this LP in VERY GOOD+ condition. The record still looks good for being 56 years old.
Side 1 in VERY GOOD+ condition. Side 2 in VERY GOOD+ condition.
THE LABELS: The labels are in EXCELLENT condition with light minimal spindle marks around the central spindle hole. The labels are nice and clean.
