Rare: Jimi Hendrix- Scuse Me While I Kiss The Sky: Live LA Forum 4/25/70 (Trade Mark of Quality, coloured vinyl copy, 2LP)

Here's a very rare concert/ collectors LP of Hendrix in April 1970. Not a great recording- but very interesting item, nonetheless, and nearly impossible to find.

There is one strange thing about this set: a mistake has occurred somehow with the packaging of the LPs- as side 1 is repeated twice- once on the yellow, and once on the blue LPs- meaning that side 3 is missing- which was meant to be a full side version of the track "Room full of mirrors".

Cover- see pictures. Not in good condition: there is water damage and mildew. Also- seams are split. It was suggested to me when I bought this LP in 1995, that the slick could be steamed off and reglued to another cover- but I never bothered.

It is worth noting that postage may work out cheaper if you are buying mutliple items- I work out all combined postage by weight, not on a per item basis. That way you have the best chance to get a good deal on postage rates, wherever you live. I have a huge list of other interesting titles currently on ebay so check them out at "sellers other items" - you may be suprised what you'll find!!!!

HANDLING PERIOD: I always do my best to post within 24 hrs of receiving payment, but because I live in a rural area, this cannot always be possible. If there is some reason preventing my usual fast postage regime, I will notify you.

INSURANCE: Please tell me if you want your item insured or registered (in the case of domestic postage). I will give you the relevant price quote for these additional costs, as quickly as possible.

Upon the buyer's request, I might be open to sending items by sea mail, to help save money in freight- especially if this it a large combined lot. Grading/ condition descriptions.

ABOUT THIS GRADING SCALE: it is meant to reflect both the appearance and sound quality of the LP in question. If I ever have doubts re. grading, I play test the item in question. I endeavour to keep my vinyl clean, and so an LP rated EX, for instance, should play that way without you having to clean it first! I try to be careful and tough with my grading (as I hate it when I buy LPs online that don't meet what I think these grades are!), but if you are not satisfied for any reason- please contact me!

Those of you that are perfectionists should not be disappointed with anything in the scales between MINT and EXCELLENT, but if the item is below that rating, please read the descriptions carefully! 

I occasionally use a + or - to show if the LP is on the high or low side of that grade. That does not mean, however, that an EX-, for instance, is the same as VG+.

MINT: new/ unplayed. I only give this grading if I can verify that it is unused. LPS that look flawless, without that verification will be MINT-

NEAR MINT Very minor flaws/ very few fine lines or imperfections. In general- will look& sound great

EXCELLENT Minor flaws/ wear such as fine lines, fine scuffs, or minor scratches that will have a minimal impact on play response.  Sound quality should be great!

VERY GOOD Will have flaws such as scuffs, scratches, wear or other marks, but these will not be significant enough for the record to play badly. In fact, typically an LP with this grading will play and sound fine- no probs for those of you who like to listen to your vinyl; just not recommended for those of you that are perfectionists. Take note of any additional comments I might make with items of this grade- especially if they are below the VG+ level. They will usually be scuffier below this level.

GOOD An LP with this grading will have significant scratches, scuffs or other wear. I only will list items with this grading if obscure or of significant interest, and in this case I will play test it and give a detailed response to how well it plays in the general item description above. Usually an LP with this grading will play OK, but could have louder crackles, and/or clicks; depending on variablility between turntables there could be tracking issues too.

About ME: My husband and I are both collectors of music, books, tapes, CDs and other interesting retro items, and usually only sell when we have stockpiled enough stuff we are no longer interested in, to make it viable. Usually we are just happy buying rather than selling!!
