Betty Glamann Christmas Fantasy: Modern Variations of Seasonal Music (Vicson V1-11967)

Sample 1

Pretty incredible holiday album. Super chill jazz led by that other lady of the Jazz Harp (the first being the great Dorothy Ashby) featuring arrangements by Arif Mardin with a top band - Richard Davis on Bass, Joseph Tekula on Cello, Ted Sommer on Drums & Percussion, Hank JOnes on Piano, Jerry Dogion on Flute, Romeo Penque on Flute, Oboe, James Buffington on French Horn.

But if the music isn't enough, this is certainly one of the greatest Christmastime lp covers we've ever seen. The enlarged image of Glamann at her harp is a most excellent Hologram meant, according to the liners, to highlight her 3-d approach to the Christmas favorites.

Condition: NM/NM
