Description

Rare Gene Krupa acetate test pressing from 1941. Label has title: It Couldn't be True as the song on Side 1 recorded 5/16/46 and on Side 2 the title of the song is: Wire Brush Stomp. They were recorded according to the label " At The Aguararium in NYC" Side 2 also recorded 5/16/46 and the label of the disc is Howard Home recording Disc. These are unissued, unreleased test pressing on an aluminum acetate that only has a certain amount of plays before they deteriorate so I will not play these, but they are VG++ in condition as of now, looks rarely played. These acetates were for the artist and producer to tell how a take sounded and work out the bugs at a recording session or at the producers home before they went into the studio to record the masters. This is a highly collectible piece of jazz history as these tunes are not available anywhere else in the world. Add this treat to your collection. PayPal7.99 preferred and overseas bids welcome.
