The record you are viewing is part of a collection acquired through a successful auction bid. The product purchased is from a deceased record store owner whose doors closed circa 1970, having made a run of it during the 60's. An incredibly large volume of LPs remained, many in new (sealed) or pristine condition and properly stored. These will comprise the bulk of offerings I will be posting on eBay. With a vast and well preserved inventory, it will take time to sift through and uncover the many hidden gems that await. My goal is to present these finds to eBay buyers in a timely and systematic manner. I am aware finds of this nature are indeed rare, but the fact is, the records I will be listing have sat undisturbed for over 40 years waiting to be rediscovered, shared and enjoyed. I hope you will find some items you've been wanting and can be part of, what I feel, is an historical find. All items kept in smoke-free, pet-free environment.
RARE Prestige deep groove MONO LP 7006 (RVG stamped in dead-wax, W. 50th St NYC address) - released 1955
NM vinyl appears as new: No play or handling marks. Beautiful sheen and luster retained since pressed 60 years ago! Play test once on NAD C555 turntable revealed clear and quiet rich analogue sound with crisp vivid detail. A quality pressing of a classic LP. EX laminated cover has light shelf wear, small corner edge wear and a square adhesive remnant upper right corner. Thin 1" laminate lift lower left corner cover.
